Leagues should typically sanction through their district or state commissioner. Leagues in areas without commissioners can sanction directly with the IDBF by mailing a list of all players, officers, coaches and the league with a check for $12 each to:

Be sure to include everyone's' name, address, sex and birthdates on the listing. Persons not listed are not covered as a member and have no membership benefits (insurance!).

Every person will receive a sanctioning card similar to the one on the previous page. Players' cards state that they are players and league officials state just that.
